Off we go a haunting…

Hello Halloween Lovers!!!

I know technically we still have a few days before the 31st, but for alot of the adult world, the weekend before Halloween is when the ghouls and goblins come out to play.  Lucky for them I’m always happy to paint them up as creepy and cool as they want to be!  Check out this weekends creations…

First up… the kid with some super cool parents… Terminator 2!  (His brother was Terminator 1 two years ago!)

Sugar, Sugar… Skull!

I’m SO excited to share these new pics with you!  Recently I had the honor of working again with the very talented Mark Wearsch of Wearsch Photography.  This is my second time painting up one of his models as a Sugar Skull, and he captured the work beautifully!  Sugar skulls have become one of my favorite things to paint… the intricate details make this style of art complex, but also stunning.  Take a look!

RTA’s Search the City Scavenger Hunt

A few weeks ago I spent the day with a bunch of friends participating in the RTA Search the City Scavenger Hunt, which was a fun filled day taking trains and busses around Cleveland in search of clues and interesting places.  It was a crazy day, and completely exhausting, but tons of fun!  And while my team didn’t even come close to winning the challenge, we did win the Best Dressed contest!  I introduce to you… TEAM AWESOME!

It’s always handy to have a face painter on your team when there’s a costume contest!  😉

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!  I hope you’ve all enjoyed your holidays as much as I have, and are ready to start a productive new year.  Did you make a new years resolution?  I’ve made my resolution to become more motivated this year.  So far I’m doing a fantastic job, and thanks to my new found motivation I have set myself a goal… I am going to practice my face painting every weekend this month.  Finding time to practice isn’t always easy, so now while it’s the slow season I’m going to make the effort to try out new designs and techniques.  This weekend I decided to try out some new mask designs.  These are so fun, and always unique to the event and person wearing it.  I’m excited to add some of these ideas to my bag of tricks for the upcoming Mardi Gras parties!
