Happy Summer! (Finally!) Now that it’s hot and humid it’s time for all the fun festivals and outdoor activities. I’m excited to be a part of three amazing festivals this year… The Cleveland Asian Festival, which was in May. And the upcoming Cuyahoga Falls Irish Riverfront Festival and Cuyahoga Falls Festa Italiana. Fun Fun!!!
So here are a few new designs I cooked up this spring. It’s always good to add new ideas to the board, especially for festivals where I get alot of repeat clients each year! I hope to see you out at one this summer!
Gearing up for my annual Holiday parties the next few weekends. I never seem to have alot of gigs in December, mainly because everyone has parties at the same time! But I always love trying to come up with a few new designs to change things up. Enjoy!
It’s no secret that Halloween is probably my favorite holiday of the year… I LOVE getting dressed up in costume! I should really start cosplaying…
And I’m always thankful that lots of other people like to get dressed up too and want me to help them! So here you go… my Halloween 2015 roundup… Alot less gore this year, but alot more FUN! Enjoy!
Hello face paint fans! Well it’s officially September and the summer is still hanging around. I don’t know about you, but this summer has been CRAZY! I wish I took the time to take more photos at events, but alas, I’m usually too busy to do it. But I have managed to try a few new things lately that I thought you might like… these are the less than snuggly animals we all love. Enjoy!
Super creepy shark attack! Not what I would want hanging around my face!Quick and vicious… RAWR.
For those who aren’t familiar with the face painting world, FABAIC (the Face & Body Art International Convention) is THE face painting convention in the United States, and I had the pleasure of attending this year! It was AMAZING!!! Several hundred face and body painters from around the world, all in one room! Here are just a few of my photos from the event.
My favorite thing I learned at the convention was painting gothic jewelry. It is SO MUCH FUN to paint! Check these out…
My first painted jewelry piece at FABAICGothic Dragons Eye Necklace – This piece took me about 2 hours to paint at the jam, but it was so much fun!My painted pearls for the FABAIC Gala
Another new trick I learned at the convention was how to paint graffiti style! Super cool! I need to keep practicing, but I hope this will be hit at festivals.
Awesome graffiti style body painting
And the other first for me was entering a face painting competition! I didn’t win, but it was really a rush to compete. I am definitely looking forward to doing it again in the future! The theme was “The Orient Express”.

I had a great time at the Riverfront Irish Festival in Cuyahoga Falls earlier this month. What a great venue for a festival! I hope to be able to go back and do it all again next year. Here are few photos I snapped during the festival. I wish I had gotten more, but I was BUSY! If you were there and took some photos of my face paintings please share them!
Who says face painting is only for kids? Check out these totally hip teens (maybe even millenials?) I painted at a concert a few weeks back. There were no design boards here… all freehand paintings to match their outfits! I’m totally one of the cool kids now. 😉
I LOVE trying new designs… in fact my design book is constantly changing because every time I try something new I instantly want to add it to my selection for parties. This weekend I have a birthday party with a special request… it’s a My Little Pony party! I’ve been itching to try out these cuties forever, especially since the original MLP’s were my favorite toys as a girl! So here you go… brand new and ready to make their debut this weekend!
It’s time for holiday parties, merry making and visits from Santa! I love painting at holiday parties this time of year because I get to paint all different designs than I normally paint the rest of the year. Here are a few new ones for my board this year… I hope the kids at this weekends party like them! P.S… if you talk to Santa, make sure you tell him I’ve been a very good face painter this year!
