Well fans, it has been a while! I guess the longer you are a face painter (6.5 years now!) the less new designs you come up with. But the holidays are always interesting because when you haven’t painted a whole group of designs in a year they always feel new, and you keep re-evaluating. So here we go… the new holiday designs for 2016 are on the board!
Gearing up for my annual Holiday parties the next few weekends. I never seem to have alot of gigs in December, mainly because everyone has parties at the same time! But I always love trying to come up with a few new designs to change things up. Enjoy!
OK, so face painting doesn’t actually taste or smell like pumpkin, but it is officially fall and that means FALL FESTIVAL SEASON is here! As much as I love summer, I do love switching up my board of options for the fall… painting the same summertime favorites a million times gets a little boring. It’s time for holiday parties, merry making and visits from Santa! I love painting at holiday parties this time of year because I get to paint all different designs than I normally paint the rest of the year. Here are a few new ones for my board this year… I hope the kids at this weekends party like them! P.S… if you talk to Santa, make sure you tell him I’ve been a very good face painter this year!
Are your kids constantly singing “Let it Go”? Is Olaf the new name of every stuffed animal in the house? Have you been asked lately if you want to build a snowman? If you know what I’m talking about then your kids are probably just as obsessed with Frozen as my step-daughter! Well Elaborate Eyes is here to help! Plan a Frozen themed party for those sing-songy kids and I’ll turn them into ice princesses and snow monsters! They’ll be the envy of ever kid on the playground when they show their friends pictures of themselves painted “just like Elsa!”. My happy thoughts are a tad belated, but I do hope you had a fun day being Irish! I had fun painting lots of people of all ages, and got some great photos to share. Hopefully I’ll be painting YOU green next year!

Everyone is Irish on Saint Patricks Day, so why not get yourself painted by yours truly and show off that Irish pride! I am excited to announce that I will be painting faces at Mavis Winkles in Independence again this year! Come out for a full day of festivities, Irish food, and face painting! Plus they will be offering shuttle service downtown starting at 11 am if you want to go see the parade, but don’t want to deal with the crazy traffic and hefty parking fees!

Hello fellow Americans! (and hello to my visiting friends from around the world, of course) Today we are celebrating our nations birthday, and you know how much I love a reason to paint for birthdays! In honor of the holiday, here are some new designs perfect for today’s festivities. I got to paint these last night at a fun event, and hopefully they will still be popular through the year. I know this post is a tad late, but I was away for two weeks on vacation and am just now getting back into the swing of things. Although this years St. Patricks day didn’t live up to the amazing weather from the last two years, It was still a fun day for everyone who went out! Happy March face paint fans! This month is going to be choc full of fun designs because the lucky month of March gets TWO big holidays this year! And what better way to get in the spirit than painting it on?! So in preparation for the first big holiday I’ve started painting some fun new designs specifically for ST. PATRICK’S DAY!
Here in Cleveland we LOVE St. Patrick’s day. (lots of Irish here ya’ know). This year I am pleased to announce that I will be painting at MAVIS WINKLES IRISH PUB in Independence, on Rockside Road. They will have festivities going on all day, including live music by the fantastic local band CRAIC. They are also offering free shuttle rides to and from downtown for everyone who wants to see the parade, but doesn’t want to deal with parking (or driving after they’ve had a few green beers, if’n ya know what I mean). So come see me and get painted up green on St. Paddy’s day!
