Lets talk about HALLOWEEN!

While I’m sad to see summer go, I am always excited for the most magical time of the year to begin…

The only time of year when everyone plays dress up and pretend all together!  It is also the absolute BEST holiday for picture taking!!  So why not take this years costume a step further and REALLY get into character… with paint!

I am happy to announce that this year I will be taking appointments to paint people into character for the main party night, Saturday October 29th.  I will be booking by the 1/2 hour beginning at 10 am and taking my last appointment at 5:30pm.  Each 30 minute spot will be $50.  Longer periods of time may be available, and can be determined by the type of design you are looking for.

What can be done in 30 minutes?  For instance: a full zombie face with 3D FX like torn flesh.  A full character face, plus hands and shoulders (like the hulk or other comic book character).  Elaborate masks for a masquerade ball, or monster faces and hands.

Is your vision bigger than just the face?  NO PROBLEM!  We can discuss your idea and determine how much time will be needed.

BOOK SOON before my time runs out!  Last year I had dozens of calls the last 3 days before Halloween and had to turn them all away.  Don’t be left out this year!

I am also available on Friday the 28th for a private booking or appointments, and also on Monday October 31st to get the kiddies ready for trick or treating, or to help entertain at a community Halloween event.

College Craziness

Ahh the College years… when you’re old enough to do whatever you want, and still too young to think you’re too old to do things!  It’s a magical time.  Check out some of the fun ideas these college elite came up with for their face paintings.  They get huge points for creativity!

Happy Birthday Ethan!

I had a great time last week painting for lucky birthday boy Ethan, who requested to be a zombie!  It was  super fun party with great kids who were all smiles.  :)

Grad Night Paintings

I’d like to wish my friend Katie a big congratulations on graduating highschool this year… I remember when she was just a tot!  I had the pleasure of painting at her party this past weekend and got some fun pics to share.  Some of these are new designs and will be added to my book soon!

If you are planning a special event party and want to add some fun to the festivities, give me a call!

Horror Makeup

I took a workshop on horror makeup and special effects last week, which was great fun.  I learned how to make some pretty creepy and gross stuff!  Now, I still feel like I have a ton to learn in this department, but I did learn some sweet new tricks and how to use some cool special effects products.  Check out some of what I created… and don’t worry… it’s only paint!

And this guy is a prosthetic foam latex mask.  Once he is painted and prepped, you take out the mouth and eyes and adhere the mask to your face using special body adhesives.  The soft foam then moves with you, so the mouth and jaw and eyebrows all work along with your real face.  It is a REALLY cool effect if you’re looking  for a truly unique costume.

Lots to Learn…

It’s been a busy few days in face painting world… I’ve spent two full days this past week at 3 different face and body painting workshops, and now have some fun pics to share!  I try to constantly work on enhancing my skills so I am able to give my customers some truly unforgettable paint jobs!  New designs, new techniques, new products, and new inspiration are all helping me be the best face and body artist I can be!  I have another workshop next week so I’m looking forward to having even more great photos to share with you then.  For now… check out some of the fun new tricks I’ve learned.  Enjoy!

Recent Works

I just thought I’d share some new photos with you… two new designs and some other favorites from todays gig.  Enjoy!

First, a new design!  A super cute ELEPHANT in honor of the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo’s new African Elephant Crossing Exhibit.  Isn’t he just the sweetest!

I’ve been meaning to get these designs on my offering list for a while now, and have finally got some pictures to use!  I’m always looking for more boy designs, so I’m very happy to have on the list now.  Let me know what you think!

Have you ever seen a talking dinosaur?

I love painting designs that “talk”!  Here is a great one, that I just realized I never posted here or put in my book!  I’ll have to make a post one day of all my talking animals for you to see… they are super fun!
